- Health Summary
  Information entered by a practitioner during a consult is added to a patient's Health Summary.
- Consultations
  Record details of a clinical consultation in the Consult panel of the patient's record.
- Patient Timeline
  A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.

    Print selected types of records from the patient's clinical history in the Patient Timeline.
- Conditions
  Add a condition to a patient's record from a predefined set of conditions.
- Add Family History
  A patient may inform a practitioner about a family medical condition which can be recorded in Helix.
- Add Social History
  Record a patient's occupation, marital status and sexuality as social history in Helix.

- Allergies
  A patient's drug allergies can be added to their record.
- Chronic Disease Management
  Use the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) feature to specify care plans, cycle of care for asthma or diabetes, and GP Mental Health Treatment Plans.
- History & Examinations
  Record details of a patient's clinical history in the History section. Record details of today's examination of a patient in the Examination section.
- Immunisations
  Before you administer an immunisation to a patient, check the immunisations that have already been administered on the AIR and the immunisations due.
- Document Management System (Message Centre)

  Record metabolic, pathology and ECG measurements and other assessments in the patient's record as required.
- Recalls
  A Recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record that informs practitioners and practice staff of when the patient is due to return to the practice.
- My Health Record Shared Health Summary
  Securely upload a patient's health data to their My Health Record.
- Nursing Requests
  During a consult, add a request for a nurse to complete a nursing action.
- Obstetrics
  Record obstetrics information on the Obstetrics panel.
- Investigations
  Investigations can be requested by a practitioner from within a patient's clinical record.
- Medications
  Helix uses the MDref medications database provided by AusDI.
- Record a Visit
  Practitioners can create a visit for a patient, add the patient to the patient queue, and initiate the billing process for all types of visits. Alternatively for previous consults, create a visit and bill the patient.
- Tasks
  The tasks module allows users to send messages (tasks) to other users throughout the medical centre.

Icon	Description
Consult	A summary of each consult. To add a comment, enter your note in the Comment field and click Add. Ellipsis - users with the permission who added a consult note or other users with the permission can mark a consult as confidential if the information it contains is sensitive. For more information, see Confidential Consult Notes.
Prescriptions	Prescriptions written for the patient. For more information, see Prescribe.
Pathology	Pathology tests requested for the patient. For more information, see Pathology Requests.
Imaging	Imaging tests requested for the patient. For more information, see Create Imaging Requests.
Specialist	Referrals sent on behalf of the patient.
My health record	Shared Health Summary (My Health Record)
