Recalls

A Recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record that informs practitioners and practice staff of when the patient is due to return to the practice.

Recalls are usually created for a clinical procedure, such as an annual health check or results review, and are generally created by the practitioner during the patient's consult.

Recall notifications sent to patients are generally managed by the Practice Manager.
Tip: If enabled, you can send recall reminders to patients using SMS.

The following information explains how to create a recall from a patient's record.

You can also initiate a recall by first generating a report of eligible patients.
