Based on advice from our Chief Medical Officer we have made the following changes in HelixHelix:

Clinical Management
Use Helix to record your patients' medical details and consultations.
- Health Summary
  Information entered by a practitioner during a consult is added to a patient's Health Summary.
- Consultations
  Record details of a clinical consultation in the Consult panel of the patient's record.
- Patient Timeline
  A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.
- Conditions
  Add a condition to a patient's record from a predefined set of conditions.
- Add Family History
  A patient may inform a practitioner about a family medical condition which can be recorded in Helix.
- Add Social History
  Record a patient's occupation, marital status and sexuality as social history in Helix.
- Address Books
- Allergies
  A patient's drug allergies can be added to their record.
- Chronic Disease Management
  Use the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) feature to specify care plans, cycle of care for asthma or diabetes, and GP Mental Health Treatment Plans.
- History & Examinations
  Record details of a patient's clinical history in the History section. Record details of today's examination of a patient in the Examination section.
- Immunisations
  Before you administer an immunisation to a patient, check the immunisations that have already been administered on the AIR and the immunisations due.
- Document Management System (Message Centre)
- Measurements and Assessments
  Record metabolic, pathology and ECG measurements and other assessments in the patient's record as required.
- Recalls
  A Recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record that informs practitioners and practice staff of when the patient is due to return to the practice.
- My Health Record Shared Health Summary
  Securely upload a patient's health data to their My Health Record.
- Nursing Requests
  During a consult, add a request for a nurse to complete a nursing action.
- Obstetrics
  Record obstetrics information on the Obstetrics panel.

        Based on advice from our Chief Medical Officer we have made the following changes in HelixHelix:
    - Edit and Delete Pathology Favourites
      After you have added useful tests to the pathology request Favourites list, you can edit them if required.
    - Print or Delete Pathology Requests
      From the Actions section you can print new pathology requests and delete the pathology requests.
    - View Pathology Requests in the Timeline
      Pathology requests are listed in the Patient Timeline.
  - Create Imaging Requests
    Create a radiology imaging request from the patient's record.
  - Pathology Results
    Helix can automatically receive pathology and radiology results from ACL and Sonic Healthcare.
- Medications
  Helix uses the MDref medications database provided by AusDI.
- Record a Visit
  Practitioners can create a visit for a patient, add the patient to the patient queue, and initiate the billing process for all types of visits. Alternatively for previous consults, create a visit and bill the patient.
- Tasks
  The tasks module allows users to send messages (tasks) to other users throughout the medical centre.

Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pathology Request

Based on advice from our Chief Medical Officer we have made the following changes in HelixHelix:

Created a pathology favourite called COVID-19 PCR tests with the required presets. This has been automatically added to the favourites list for those with permission to create a pathology request.
Added the pathology test Coronavirus COVID-19 nucleic acid assay which in combination with the test type Infectious respiratory nucleic acid is what makes up the newly created favourite.
