Enable SMS Recall Reminders

Before you can send SMS recall reminders set up your template and enable SMS for recalls.

Procedure

  1. Select User iconuser > Settings iconSettings.
  2. Select Centre > Recall Management.
  3. Select SMS templates.
  4. Select the centre you want to edit.
  5. Switch the Enable SMS for recalls to on.

Results

SMS messaging for recalls is activated for this centre, and any recall SMS message templates created for it are shown.

What to do next

To create a new template:
  1. Click +Template.
  2. Compose your recall message and follow up message. You can free-type in each text box, or click + Add Field to add a field that will be populated with the relevant patient's information when the SMS is sent.

  3. Click Save.
