Configure the Patient's Record for SMS

Before a patient can receive SMS from your centre, they must have consented and their patient record must contain the required information.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. From the main menu, select PatientPatient Search.
  2. In the Search iconSearch field, start typing a patient's name, then select the required patient in the list.
  3. Click Edit Patient Details.
  4. Ensure you have recorded a mobile phone number for the patient.
  5. Selectsettings > Patient Preferences.
  6. In SMS Preferences, click Opt In.

  7. Click Save.
