Batch
A practitioner can batch the group of the patient's claims and send the batch from Helix to Services Australia.
Retransmit a Batch
Practitioner can retransmit the transmitted claims to Services Australia.

Finance
Make electronic claims with Services Australia, including Bulk Bill claims, or if your health service operates fully or partially as a private business, bill a patient privately; and balance your banking records.
- Configure Centre Billing
  Add your centre's account details, default billing type, default billing items for different scenarios and your Modified Monach Category for Medicarebilling incentive items.
- Fee Schedules
  Maintain the default fee schedule for patient services that are not bulk billed or DVA-related, import updated MBS and DVA fee schedules into your instance of Helix, and create customised fee schedules.
- Banking
  Use the Bank panel to view deposited items and balance your banking records.
- Add Billing Items for a Consult
  If required, clinicians can create or modify the list of items to be billed for the current consult.
- Medicare Claims
  Use Helix to submit a Medicare claim to Services Australia, retransmit an unsuccessful claim, and view the claim results.
  - Patient Claims
    Transmit private claims to Services Australia, and retransmit unsuccessful claims.
  - Correcting Medicare Claims
    You can view the list of pending claims and error messages for failed claims that have already transmitted to Services Australia. You can also delete claims that have already been transmitted.
  - Batch
    A practitioner can batch the group of the patient's claims and send the batch from Helix to Services Australia.
    - Edit a Visit from the Batch
      Before a consult is batched, practitioner can edit in the visit.
    - Batch a Group of Items
      A practitioner can move an unbatched group of patient's claims to a batched group.
    - Unbatch an Item from a Batch
      To change a batched claim, practitioner can move claims from batched status to unbatched status.
    - Transmit a Batch
      Practitioner can transmit group of patient's claims to Services Australia.
    - Retransmit a Batch
      Practitioner can retransmit the transmitted claims to Services Australia.
    - Exceptions
      When Services Australia has reviewed the batch, it returns either an exception or a resolved response. If there is an exception with the batch, the batch will display in the Exceptions panel.
    - Resolved
      When Services Australia approves a batch of consults, the batch is displayed with Resolved status.
    - Reset a Batch - Unlock Batch
      Helix informs users of claim errors which would prevent the claim from being transmitted to Services Australia.
- Transaction History
  View the transaction history for individual patients or account holders, and refund and write-off summaries.
- Tyro Integration
  Helix integrates with Tyro and its EFTPOS terminals.
- Workers Compensation
  Process Workers' Compensation claims using Helix
- Receipts
  When payment has been received from an account holder or Services Australia, receipting can be performed for all invoices.
- Generate Financial Reports

Retransmit a Batch

Practitioner can retransmit the transmitted claims to Services Australia.

About this task

Retransmit the group of claims from the Transmitted section in the Batch panel.

Procedure

To retransmit:

Select Claiming, Banking, and Payments > Batch from the menu.
In the Status list, select Transmitted.
From the Transmitted panel, select a batch, and click Re-Transmit.
