    - SMS Recall Reminders
      Practice Managers and Administrators can send SMS recalls from the Message Centre.
    - Edit Recalls from the Message Centre
      Practice Managers and Administrators can send SMS recalls or letters, record comments about contact attempts, repeat recalls, complete recalls or defer recalls from the Message Centre.
    - Print Recalls
      Practice Managers and Administrators can print recall letters that can be mailed to patients.
    - Export Recall Details
      Recall details can be exported as a .CSV file that can then be opened and used in Microsoft Excel.
  - Tasks
    Tasks created by practitioners during a consult, or from the Message Centre are sent as messages to the assigned person.
  - Inbox
    Use the Message Centre Inbox to view patients' investigation results and health summaries that were delivered electronically to your health centre.
  - Outbox
    The Outbox lists outgoing letters, documents, and messages that were sent securely via HealthLink from a patient's record.
  - Document Management System (DMS)
    Use the DMS to add documents to Helix and match documents to a patient.
  - Comms Log
    View communications, such as SMS appointment reminders and rescheduled appointments or emails, sent to patients from your centre, sent letter via email and the statuses of those communications.
- Referrals
  A health care professional writes a referral to request that another HCP or healthcare organisation provide an expert opinion, diagnosis, or treatment for a patient's medical condition.
- Create and Send Secure Documents
  Send referral letters, medical certificates, health assessments or other medical documents securely to other clinicians using Secure Message Delivery (SMD).
- Printer Settings
  Configure up to four printers for general printing, imaging requests, pathology requests, and prescriptions.

About this task

Depending on your display preferences, the recalls notification badge shows a count of the number of urgent, incomplete recalls that have not yet had a successful contact attempt, for you as an individual or for the logged in centre, irrespective of the time range selected. The count does not include:

Actioned recalls that have had a successful contact attempt
Completed recalls that have a completed date, removed date, or for which the patient has died

Set your recall badge notification count preference in Display Preferences.

Procedure

To view recalls in the Message Centre:

In the toolbar, select

Message Centre > Recalls.

Results

On the Recalls tab, recalls information for the centre is displayed, including the details of each patient's next appointment.

For each patient who has a recall, a recall notification icon is displayed next to the Health Summary when the Patient Search and other panes are collapsed.
