Terminal Configuration

Configure the required terminal for the billing process or refunds.

Before you begin

Ensure you have recorded a credit card surcharge value into Helix. For more information about recording, see Record a Credit Card Surcharge.

Procedure

To configure the terminal:
  1. Select User iconuser > Settings iconSettings.
  2. In the Settings window, select Centre > Centre Settings.
  3. In the Centre Settings, locate and edit your centre.
  4. In the Centre Management window, select Integrated Payments & Claiming tab.
  5. Under the Integrated Payments & Claiming tab, toggle the Enable integrated payments for Helix option to On.

  6. To add a new terminal, click Add Terminal.
    The Add new Terminal panel is displayed.

    1. In the Terminal Provider field, select the appropriate terminal provider from the list.
    2. In the Terminal Name field, enter the preferred terminal name, and then click Next.
  7. In the Add New Terminal panel, select the appropriate Tyro Payments Terminal type, and then click Next.
  8. To enable EasyClaim for Medicare refunds, toggle the Enable EasyClaim option to On.

    Note: To use EasyClaim as the default claim, set Patient Claim.
  9. Follow the remainder of instructions as shown on screen.

Results

If the pairing is successful, the configuration is saved automatically.
