Centre Settings
Information about each centre is managed in Centre Settings. Where you can add, edit, or clone the centres, and view the inactive centres.

- User Management
  Everyone who needs to access Helix should be added as a user and assigned to a role. Permissions to access various parts of Helix are assigned to roles. The permissions assigned determine what each user can access in Helix.
- Centre Settings
  Information about each centre is managed in Centre Settings. Where you can add, edit, or clone the centres, and view the inactive centres.
  - Display Centre Settings
    Display the Centre Management from Settings menu.
  - Add a New Centre
    Add a new centre and related information such as demographics, billing, clinical and messaging settings.
  - Edit a Centre
    Edit or update the required centres and their associated information such as demographics, pathology settings, work area, and imaging settings.
  - Finance Configuration
    Configure the centre billing details and default fee schedule for patient services.
- Immunisation Schedule Management
  Create a new immunisation schedule, edit the schedule and activate it.
- Template Management
  All templates used in the Letter Writer are managed from the Template Management system.
- Preferences
  Enable ePrescribing, RTPM and set your display preferences.
- Abbreviations
  Abbreviations are essentially frequently used text inserted into a patient's consult using keystrokes.
- Certificates
  PKI certificates are required by many businesses for maintaining access to digital health tools including electronic prescribing and My Health Record.
- Active Directory User Management
  The Active Directory User Management page allows you to create new users in Helix, or assign access to existing users.
- Audits
  Use the Audit log to check user access, reauthentication, and any changes made to your patient's personal records.
- Migration to Helix
  Helix uses a FHIR-based tool to migrate your MedicalDirector Clinical data using an iterative approach.

Display the Centre Management from Settings menu.

Procedure

To display Centre Management:

Select user > Settings.
In the Settings window, select Centre > Centre Settings.

Results

The Centre Management window is displayed.

What to do next

To change the sort order, click on a column header.

To search a centre, in the Search for a centre field, enter a centre name you want. The list of matching results is generated dynamically.

To include the inactive centres name in the list, select the Include Inactive checkbox. Inactive centres are displayed at the bottom of the list.
